Amnesia a Machine for Pigs: well firstly I wanna start with a trailer enjoy

Also secondly I wanna mention that this game wasn’t made by the same company that made Amnesia The Dark Descent….so some of the key elements from the first game are lacking in this game unfortunately……with that let’s get into the review

Let’s get the rating out of the way, overall this game is fine I guess….only issue is it’s not made by the same developers or same company…so this doesn’t have the same Amnesia charm as the first game did…so overall I’ll give this game a solid 6/10…spoilers from here on out y’all been warned.

So in this game, u play a character (I forget his name but it doesn’t really matter) so anyways u play as a father who wakes up at home after he gets back from an exploration, where he attracted some kinda virus that is causing amnesia…….anyways u get up try to locate ur kids, but u get a call that says ur kids are held captive in the machine and the way to rescue them is by resetting the machine…..so u head to the machine….

On the way there which is located somewhere downtown u stumble upon pig-mutated people kidnapping people and taking them into some underground place of sorts…where the machine is located, so u decide to follow them….no idk why anyone would follow these things either…but this is a horror game, and horror usually runs on the logic of the main character being stupid…..

So come to the end ur main character makes his way to the machine to turn it off…..we find out through this game he’s gained disdain for humanity and wanted to kill them….it just so happens those pig people are some of the people he captured but now been mutated to pig men….

The main character luckily realizes, wait a minute I’m going way too far. This is too much, I can’t do this….really? Now u can’t do this? U didn’t have this thought at all during the building of the contraction?

Oh also his kids are dead, they’ve been dead this whole time….he just completely forgot, guess that’s why it’s called Amnesia…..he thought they were still alive…

So u turn off the machine, and u head back up to the ground while ur machine and the secret base collapse on themselves…..u come to terms that u lost ur kid and u also again realize maybe u went too far…..and that ur probably gonna go to hell when u die….the end, honestly I’ll restate it…I didn’t hate this game but I didn’t love it either.
