Alice Madness returns:

Let’s start by showing y’all the trailers shall we?

Let’s get the rating out of the way, well honestly I love this game I love both these games, they get a solid 10/10 from me…it’s eerie, and it gives off Tim Burton vibes…..I’m all for it…. Anyway spoilers from here on out y’all been warned.

So where do I begin with this…..well firstly this game picks off where the first game left off……Alice is now back in a mental hospital this time seeing a psychiatrist named Dr. Angus Bumpy, he’s trying to help Alice forget about her trauma……aw how sweet he cares…..or does he? Anyways so then Alice leaves the mental hospital because I guess she can just freely do that I guess lol…

Anyway she follows the white rabbit through an ally way…..which leads her into wonderland, btw This game is gorgeous, it has updated graphics…the atmosphere feels more aw, very gorgeous looking, and the graphics look way better, so anyways the Chesire cat comes and explains what’s happening, he says that Wonderland is in danger…..there’s this guy named the Dollmaker who’s going around in his giant gothic metallic looking train destroying everything in Wonderland also kidnapping children……….uh oh So it’s up to Alice to discover who the Dollmaker is, regain her past trauma memories of haho or what set her house on fire because she’s pushed that memory deep down inside her and she wants to know…..also it’s up to her to save wonderland so yeah the typical usual

So throughout this game, u will once again be fighting against enemies again but this time there are different enemies…..such as a teapot with spider legs and 1 eyeball…….yeah that’s creative, also btw u get a new weapon in this game which has become my favorite weapon in this game series, u get a pepper gun shooter that shoots out pepper from a pepper grinder….God I love this game, in fact, I’m gonna say it my ideal Alice in Wonderland-type properties are both these games I’m talking about and the Tim Burton Alice in Wonderland film…yes, I know unpopular opinion, but still, it’s my opinion….

Anyways the Chesire Cat helps take u to find the Hater….now wait a mind hold on a minute…firstly wasn’t the Mad Hater a bad guy/boss fight in the first game? Secondly, his head exploded…how is he still alive? And thirdly why is she looking for his help? As stated he was a bad guy in the first game ….. eh it doesn’t matter, what does matter is as soon as they get to his factory they’re greeted by Teapot spider robots whom u have to fight….oh and ink-like demons things, btw this game is heavy on its parkour, so u will be constantly doing parkour….

So as soon as u find the Hater he asks u to find his individual body parts to put him back together, then he will help take Alice to the Dollmakers lair….which so happens to be a mobile giant Gothic building-looking train, ok that’s a creative base….

So u then go get his body parts which some of which are being held by the experimented on mouse and rabbit…..yeah remember those 2 from the first game? Well, they’re back……anyways if u think they’re gonna play a massive role or have a big battle against the Hater…..ehhhh no sorry to disappoint u….after u get all his body parts back, he grabs u and take u upwards through the building where both the rabbit and the mouse come up to them in a giant mechanized robot they made….finally boss fight right? Ehhhh no instead they’re robot breaks down and it cuts to 2d animation of the building collapsing and Alice escaping while Hater is staying behind trying to play tea party with both creatures, but he does tell her where to go to next…he tells her to visit the blue caterpillar….hmmm that was anticlimactic…

Fun fact they originally were gonna add a boss fight there heck there was content they were originally planning on adding but ran out of time to add them, yeah ain’t that unfortunate…

Anyway she wakes back up in normal reality and unfortunately, we have to walk around as her for a little bit, but then she finds herself back in Wonderland…..where now she’s in a different location, where the blue caterpillar is at……and at this location it has a Japanese type feel to it…also if ur wondering what are the creatures u fight here? Well, they’re samurai pray mantis yeah I know right weird?

Yeah things only get weirder in Wonderland….wow what a shocker…lolo who could have seen that coming….anyways Alice fights her way to the caterpillar…..she does tell him how she’s being haunted by the memory of her house burning down that night, killing her sister and family….she feels guilt she believes she accidentally left the candle on and it fell over killing them…..but she also suspects that she wasn’t the cause of they’re deaths because she tried relieving the ordeal in her head multiple times and stuff just don’t add up….she thought maybe the cat knocked it over but the cat was nowhere near the candle….then she thought the candle probably started the fire…but if that was the case then wouldn’t her room have set ablaze first? And if so why didn’t it?

Anyway she navigated to a town of doll kids, to find more answers….so she heads there and what she finds is horrific kids with horrific stitches all over their faces and bodies….as if they were experimented on, most of them with their skin pulled back…eyes bulging out….yeah this is graphic.

Anyways so come to the end of this game, u enter the Dollmakers train…where we see this giant version of her therapist who has green ooze coming down his mouth and eyes….he reveals he’s the one who murdered her family…it wasn’t her fault, she didn’t knock the candle down…

No, it was him, he murdered them so she could lose her sanity….wow what an awful therapist.

So she defeats the Dollmaker, saving all of Wonderland again….she enters back into the normal world, where she confronts her therapist at the train station he’s at…..

She reveals she knows the truth that he killed her family, that it wasn’t her…..he tells her who’s gonna believe u over me? It’s your word against mine…she then decides to push him in front of the train coming towards them…

So he’s dead, but wouldn’t realistically be pinned for this? She just murdered him….anyways the end, I’m sad to say this but we won’t be getting a third game because EA is a shitty company that doesn’t want to sell the rights to this game or make a third game at all…
