Goat Simulator 3 Multiverse of Nonsense: Let’s start off by showing y’all the trailer shall we?
Also before we get into my rating of Goat Simulator 3 DLC, I wanna add to the madness by showing y’all some weird Goat Simulator 3 shorts that Coffee Stain North posted on their YouTube…
Hehe hehe, this game is so bizarre…..so yes today we’ll be covering the latest DLC for Goat Simulator 3, titled Multiverse of Nonsense….if y’all can’t tell it’s a play on Word of Multiverse of Madness…also this DLC exists to poke fun at the whole Multiverse trope…
Anyway, let’s get the review out of the way so we can talk about the wackiness of this DLC…
Overall I freaking loved this DLC, keep in mind not at first when it dropped because there were some game-breaking bugs…I’ll explain that soon, but after they fixed the game I ended up enjoying it….
The only thing I’ll say is if some y’all don’t like multiversal-type stuff, or over-the-top wackiness then this game won’t be for u…but I recommend trying it out, it’s always fun to play a game that just requires u to shut ur brain off and have fun…
This DLC is $20ish dollars, do I think its well worth the price? Heck yes I do….
So I’ll give Goat Simulator Multiverse of Nonsense a solid 9.8/10, spoilers ahead y’all have been warned….
So in this DLC, u play as a Goat of course….this Goat enters a portal that scientists have made….u also bring with u a purple stone, when u go through the portal u find yourself in this cartoony whacky world that’s a mix of..
Cartoon town with cartoon animal people.
Late 1800s town with goats for humans.
Humans as birds…..the Fudge?
Humans as pets as well….uhhhh.
Greek mountain town area.
An old western area.
Oh and 2 floating islands on purple crystals, that if u jump on them, it will launch u into the air
Did I say this DLC is madness? Oh and the final cherry on top is a giant Capybara in the sky….who has a formal voice. She tells u to find 5 more of these stones called the instability stones for the instability tiara she has on top of this giant purple crystal u spawn on top of…
If y’all can’t tell what this is parodying then I’ll just explain it….it’s a play on the Infinite Gauntlet from Avengers Infinite War…
Anyway, remember how I alluded to there being a game-breaking glitch in this DLC? Well, the second of the 4 stones u get u can only be obtained by going through a portal that spawns over a building in the late 1800s town…
U go in it, the portal takes u to a mine, u have to mine blue ores to reach level 10…u have to drag each ore to this robot….
Anyway after that, u have to reach level 60 so u have to go around this giant mine and mine ores while dragging a robot behind u with ur tongue…now the challenge isn’t hard but what made it hard was the glitch….the glitch is the game would crash just be minor joystick movement and camera movement….uh huh, so it was unplayable…..
But there’s a way to do it without it crashing all u have to do is go into settings and turn sensitivity off to 0 or 1 in both the Y and X Access…..then u have to aim one way which is straight, which means u will just have to move left and right or straight or backward without moving ur camera at all….yeah good luck trying to climb a ladder sideways without moving ur camera…
Luckily they fixed it, I, unfortunately, did that level the hard way…..btw After that is done u will free another stone……which then spawns in 3 towers on the map….these 3 towers have these minds fuck puzzles….
1. The Tower is a jigsaw puzzle u have to put together.
2. The Tower is Mastermind (it’s completely random all the time there’s not one answer u can look up on YouTube to help u. Ur, best bet look up the rules of Mastermind on Google. Try to play it…Basically ur given these colored balls, there’s 1 specific row of patterns behind a thing u can’t view it, and u have to guess the correct row of colors…ur given a total of like 10 tries, and if u fail all of them u have to press the restart button which randomizes the correct order again, I hated this one)
3. The tower is Minesweeper (yeah remember how I said I hated Tower 2? Well, I take that back because I loathe this tower, Minesweeper…I have no way to describe this one, ur again gonna have to look up the rules on Google. Then try to figure out how to play the game, good luck it’s always random. U basically land on some random tiles, and a total amount of tiles vanish which leaves behind numbers…from what I understand u have to not land on specific tiles because they explode, and when they explode u have to start over…it’s never the same, it’s always random…now how do u determine which tile explodes is beyond me…
Yeah, quick question, who at Coffee Stain North thought it be a good idea to add Minesweeper in a game for kids? What small kid is gonna be able to figure this out? Heck I’m 25 and couldn’t figure this out)
Luckily those 3 towers are optional, u don’t have to do them…but if u want to get 100% of the cosmetics u can unlock in this DLC then u kinda have to…..
Anyway, let’s get to the ending so once u receive 3 of the 4 stones, the giant Capybara will ask u to ride this chariot into her mouth because the final stone is in her, see where this is going.
Anyways u go in through her body until u find the final stone which is a kidney stone, ha ha….so after u take out her kidney stone which is logged in….u will get teleported into some void with water…..where the Capybara shows up, and congratulates u…..tells u that ur a hero and all that….
Just then an old man comes from a bush that he was hiding in, he says what? U thought u were special? No ur a dumb goat…..wow dude that’s harsh, he then tells the goat none of this happened and u didn’t save the multiverse….this was all a VR world I set up for u to enter to save this majestic creature….now this creature shall go out and be loved….
Okay, then what the hell did I just play through?
Anyway I now wanna list the goats u can unlock as cosmetics in this DLC, there is
Kid (a baby Goat)
Human Pet (the name says it all do I need to say more?)
HotDogain (a humanoid-shaped HotDog that spits out floating hotdogs u can jump on)
Missing Link (a humanoid Goat man who can scan people and turn them into Goat men, I did say this game is weird)
Reinfaus (a living squar sack pack)
Toon Goat (a cartoon Goat)
Lizard Doggo (doesn’t even look like a Lizard, looks more like a mix between a shrimp with a dog with some kinda of alien species)
Capybara (Capybara is god, Capybara is all…we warship the Capybara…lolo but no seriously they are cute as hell if y’all don’t know, they are giant rodents who are just super friendly with humans and every other creatures)
BTW I should mention when u first load into this DLC u have to press the on-play game button instead of continue because the play game gives u the choice to play the main game or this DLC….
At first, the cosmetics u unlocked in the base game won’t be ported to the DLC world, but when u unlock cosmetics in the DLC world u can play as those in the base game. Then once u unlock the Capybara, basically the ending of the story…
Then ur cosmetics from the base game will be ported into this DLC so u can use any cosmetics in both worlds….
Honestly, there’s nothing else much for me to say except go play this DLC if u need something that will brighten u up, and make u laugh….I highly recommend Goat Simulator 3 and this DLC Multiverse of Nonsense….both are amazing to play, anyways hope y’all enjoyed my review…
Also here’s a tease for the next review I’m working on which I’ll release in November because I have tons of reviews planning for release from September through October…
