Uncharted 4 A Thiefs End: Let’s start off with showing y’all the trailers shall we?

Things are becoming intense!….so before I go any further let’s get the rating out of the way then I’ll quickly go through the story plot then discuss a bit about the visuals and gameplay…..

Firstly the rating…overall I’ll say

BTW here’s a quick rundown of the plot of the game, I won’t be saying much of the story, I want y’all to experience this game for urself….well focus more on the visuals and gameplay…

“Several years after his last adventure, retired fortune hunter, Nathan Drake, is forced back into the world of thieves. With the stakes much more personal, Drake embarks on a globe-trotting journey in pursuit of a historical conspiracy behind a fabled pirate treasure. His greatest adventure will test his physical limits, his resolve, and ultimately what he is willing to sacrifice to save the ones he loves.”

BTW the best way I can describe this game series is basically Indiana Jones in the modern day, mixed with Mission Impossible, with more gun violence….

BTW there’s a specific car chase scene in this game I absolutely love, it’s so cinematic and gorgeous…..it makes me wish Indiana Jones 5 had something like this in it, and not that stupid Tut Tut chase….

So now let’s talk about the characters and then gameplay…

Nathan Drake: a descendant of Sir Francis Drake, or as we found out in the last game, he is not he lied about his heritage…

Wow, what a trustworthy character he was….but also this time we find out he has a brother, yes a brother who was never brought up before or ever mentioned before or shown before…yeah you know that trope….do y’all like that trope or not?

So we have his brother named Samual Drake, turns out he and Nathan and a friend of there’s named Rafe (who’s the main villain of this game) served time in prison…but during a lengthy breakout which involved tons of shooting their way….

Samuel gets shot at while trying to jump across a building roof to another, Nathan grabs his hand and accidentally legs go…so Samuel is presumed dead….dunn dunn dunnn….

Still got Sully and Elena in this game, well Elena is barely in this game, she takes a backseat to Nathan’s brother….

The villains are one-note generic of course….u will see what I mean.

Now let’s talk about the downsides of this game.

This game suffers from 2 tropes that i absolutely hate, such as the brother the main character always had but was never brought up before or mentioned before…u know that trope?

Then there’s the trope of Drake nor informing Elena his wife about his brother at all, or being alive….and going on one last adventure with him…..those 2 tropes I’ve always hated, hence why I don’t consider this one my absolute favorite of the Uncharted games…

I will say this though, the ending has a happy ending…..the creator said this game is Nathan Drake’s final story, they are done telling his story….if we get anymore Uncharted games it will be about other characters….hmmm idk how to feel about that….

Overall I still highly recommend this game it’s worth a play especially if u have a PS4 or PS5…hope yall enjoyed the review
