Uncharted 1 Drake’s Fortune: Let’s start off with showing y’all the trailers shall we?

Woah that’s cool!……so before I go any further let’s get the rating out of the way then I’ll quickly go through the story plot then discuss a bit about the visuals and gameplay…..

But before the rating, I have a fun fact for y’all…

Did u know that Indiana Jones inspired Tomb Raider and Uncharted? Yeah, there’s a fact for y’all…..especially a fun fact.

So now the rating, overall I’ll say

BTW here’s a quick rundown of the plot of the game, I won’t be saying much of the story, I want y’all to experience this game for urself….well focus more on the visuals and gameplay…

“The Drake’s Fortune subtitle is a reference to the fictional main character, Nathan Drake, who believes himself to be a descendant of famed explorer Sir Francis Drake. A 400-year-old clue in the coffin of Sir Francis Drake sets the modern-day fortune hunter on an exploration for the fabled treasure of El Dorado, leading to the discovery of a forgotten island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. The search turns deadly when Drake becomes stranded on the island and hunted by mercenaries. Outnumbered and outgunned, Drake and his companions must fight to survive as they begin to unravel the terrible secrets hidden on the Island.”

So now let’s talk about the characters and then gameplay…

BTW the locations in this entire franchise are gorgeous, I can’t summarize them, but what I will say is that 9 times out of 10 the locations look like somewhere Indiana Jones would have gone to….

BTW These Uncharted games don’t fully lean into the supernatural side of things, there’s times when supernatural things are hinted at…but they find a way to make them grounded….sorta…unlike Tomb Raider which has always had supernatural elements to it….kinda like Indiana Jones…

BTW this game series has always lacked any realism or physics, so if u come in here expecting any of that we’ll ur gonna be disappointed…

Nathan Drake: a descendant of Sir Franchise Drake…..he’s basically Indiana Jones in the modern day, except all he cares about is making money….hmmm what a charmer….

Then we got Victor Sully, Nathan Drake’s father figure who is also a thief like him…he smokes cigars and has an iconic grey mustache….

Then we got Elena, she’s a news reporter who does end up helping out Nathan and Sully…..they first abandon her but she bumps into them again…

The villains are one-note generic of course….u will see what I mean.

Now let’s talk about the downsides of this game.

Well, my only downside for this game is there’s this portion of the game where u have to drive a jet ski all while shooting enemies above u who are shooting at u….but the issue is the controls are wonky…

Overall I still highly recommend this game it’s worth a play especially if u have a PS4 or PS5…hope yall enjoyed the review
