Bendy and the Ink Machine

Warning , massive spoilers ahead for this game, also just because this looks like a cartoon doesn’t mean it it kid friendly…this is a horror game….anyways  here’s the trailer…..

The plot of this game is, ur character u play as a character named (I forget his name) gets a card from an old friend of his named Joey Drew…that days to come back to there studios they worked at together…Joey Drew’s Studios, there they created cartoons….specifically a old cartoon called Bendy…..I’ll say this quickly this game has a similar art style to old cartoons such as micky mouse because this game is basically a spoof or was inspired by those….it basically takes what we consider for kids and made that into a horror game…anyways so ur main character gets there …the place is abandoned and throughout the game u find there records that tell of the events that happened there…..they ain’t great but I’ll get to that in a bit…..also this game is split in 5 chapters… in chapter 1 ur basically looking around throughout thr top floor of the building by the end of the chapter u fall through the ground finding a giant underground place….yeah Joey spent way to much money on this place…..which now will lead me into describing what is going on here….throughout the game u will find out through the records that Joey wanted to create an ink machine to bring his characters to life….but that required tons of money….so he started falling in debt…uh oh….he also decided to hire actors and actresses to voice his characters…his characters being Bendy, Boris and Susie….I’ll get to her in a bit….her backstory is tragic….turns out Joey had secret motives the company and the casts didn’t know…..he wanted to put them into the ink machine and turn them into his creations…Jesus christ…..so yeah this guy was greedy, messed up and delusional…got it……what a friend huh?….oh and we find out he did create bendy using the ink machine….just the slight issue though he didn’t turn anyone into bendy so he literally used the ink machine and created bendy….where’s the issue ur wondering? Well bendy came out as an actual demon……an demonic demon….so thats right the place ur in is haunted by a demon…..no wonder why this place shut down…..pff….bad maintenance, barley able to afford paying bills and oh yeah the most normal reason ever…. a demonic being roaming around the place……this place should have been shut down slightly before……oh BTW throughout this game u will get to hear different voice recordings of the people who worked there…..and what there work experience was like…..and some of the recordings do tell of the people who got turned by the ink machine into monstrosities……now onto Susie because her story is just messed up….some actress I forget her name it ain’t important, is hired to voice the character of Susie……she really enjoyed her job playing as this character….was loved, was loving the attention…then one day she walks in and Mr Joey Drew hired another woman without telling the previous actress…..so she finds out the hard way she’s fired…so she falls into a deep state of depression and was ready to commit suicide…..christ….so Mr Joey Drew being the sneaky schemey douchebag decides to come to her rescue make himself look like the hero ….offers her the job back….she accepts, and the rest is history…oh wait no it ain’t……he tells her she will have to agree to go into the ink machine and become the living in body of Susie character…she agrees and she becomes Susie…but slightly deformed….its kinda a metaphor really for showing us how broken her psyche is…..I like that….its creative….anyways later in the game u locate Boris….he’s actually nice and helps u out…..unfortunately when u bump into Susie…she uhh not as nice….we find out something very morbid she’s been collecting every boris clone there is and ripping there hearts out to eat them…so she can keep herself looking beautiful….yeah thats f**ked up….so u have to help her find more parts for her or else basically……anyways let’s wrap this story up in the final chapter of this game which is chapter 5…u encounter the bendy demon and u fight him of sorts….the way u defeat him is by and I kid u not playing the end of a episode on a projector ans when I mean the end I mean the end…where the words the and end pop up…that somehow sucks thr demon back into the screen…somehow?…yeah idk either…and the game ends on a baffling note…u wake up in Mr Joey Drew apartment and he tells u how much he misses u also how much he has messsed up and he has regrets….though nothing from the recordings would ever imply he ever would have regrets…….then he tells u to go through the front door and u do…but the other side of the door leads u back to the beginning of this game….huhhhh?….yeah this ending baffled me…some prefict that the main character is in a endless loop which is starting to agree with because that at least makes more sense then anything…..now onto negatives and positives

Positives: honestly I find this game to be very unique in its take on the horror genre…taking a idea of a old timey cartoon and making it scary….I dig it

Negatives: uhhh I don’t really have any negatives to be honest

Overall great game I recommend it specifically for horror fans….9/10….yes yes highly recommend it….
