Back 4 Blood

Warning , massive uhhh spoilers I guess? Idk I mean there’s a plot kinda of sorts I don’t remember it….it ain’t important because at end of day the game is a 4 person shooting zombie game where u go from point A to point B, exactly like left 4 dead which will get into that inna bit…..anyways here’s the trailers…..

Did yall know that when Back 4 Blood came out there was a bit of a controversy….so apparently in the early days of this game releasing some of the players who played the game noticed and heard some of the zombies screaming the N-word…..

……yeah let me repeat that…. zombies screaming the N-word……ohhhhhhh boyyy did just wow….ok did no one who worked on this game not hear that? Yeah I wish I was kidding when I say this but it happened…….yeah uh sorry did a bunch of Deaf people work on this game? I mean seriously? Who thought and listened to that said yep this will do…..anyways yeah I’m glad they fixed that up right away they released an apology statement and fixed that Racist audio in the game…..I mean good on them for fixing it before it got way out of hands….but as the matter of fact that we’re even having to discuss about this and furthermore had to listen to that….is concerning in its own self

Anyways so let’s start off with saying the obvious shall we, this game may as well be a left 4 dead 3….and thats where I believe the issue comes into play, people for some reason where expecting this to be a left 4 dead 3….because it looks like it…but in reality it isn’t but it really is at the same time…….the other issue is it’s basically a copy of left 4 dead…….so basically in this game u play as a group of 4 people who basically come to kill the zombies to regain there world back….thats basically the premise of this game…..now I will say this, the game has a few less locations then left 4 dead 2 and 1 combined……but back 4 blood has few less people to play as then left 4 dead….left 4 dead 1 and 2 combined has 8 people total…..back 4 blood had less people but now with the 2 dlc packs that came out which I’ll get into soon…now we have about the same amount of playable characters……so let’s talk about the zombies……oh lord I’m mixed about them…on one hand I actually like the way they look because there creepy…on the other hand…the different variants for the zombies are lazily reskins of each other…..so I call lazy on that……for example there’s 4 (different types) of tall zombies with big fleshy arm to use to smash the floor with…wow so creative… 4 different ones of the same… also 4 other similar ones of zombies that spit out mucus to make a player stuck… another 4 different type of zombies of just standard zombies and 4 different types of big bulky zombies that spit put acid…..wow u guys really put so much thought into this I can tell….……BTW if ur looking for any complex story then uhh leave just leave….thats all I can say Bevan there’s no complex story to be found with this game……it’s just a 4 player shooter zombie game…..and there’s no Problem with that either….it just depends on what u prefer……I want to quickly mention the dlc packs because at first I did think yeah this game is very much a left 4 dead copy…but after the 2 dlc packs that came out…I think the game can stand on its own 2 feet as it’s own game….the first dlc pack that released…the first dlc pack that released was really interesting…here’s the trailer for it

It’s called Tunnels of terror….to me this was the start of the game doing something different…In this dlc pack we get 2 new characters we can play as….also the major inclusion to the game….tunnels that spawn randomly on each map that we can enter….the tunnels are the riddens hive basically….the walls down there are grotesque…filled with human flesh, bones, dead bodies….vines of sorts…blood….its nasty….I really enjoy this new segment of the game btw…it adds new location to the game…basically in the tunnels u gotta find these 3 skull totems and carry them back out….and u will get 3 skull totem points which u can use as new currency thats added to purchase new items that use skull tokens…u get the amount of skull tokens from the amount ur able to pick up and find…there kinda hard to locate Because ur basically running through a maze of sorts……also when u pick the totem up u can’t use a gun but u can use the totem as a melee weapon to kill zombies with….then we get into the second dlc pack…here’s the trailer

It’s called Children of the worm….this dlc is by far my favorite…we get a new character his name is prophet Dan….honestly hands down became my new favorite character to play as…..plus this dlc has a story …..the story is prophet Dan comes to u to offer his help because turns out the cult he was running…well some of his men turned on him and killed the rest of his men….and now want to kill anyone who’s human…..well yikes….also this dlc brings us a chapter 5 so finally a new level which I’m absolutely happy about….plus new enemies…..we get humans as enemies…so along with zombies that kill u….u now have to worry about humans with snipers and melee weapons ok that’s unique for a zombie game of this specific type I mean……..also we get new melee weapons…a bow and arrow, bear traps, wolverine claws type weapon and a vile of something that attracts the zombies to one area…..honestly this dlc made me have fun again with the game…now onto the negatives and positives

Positives: everything about this game is fun…worth a try

Negatives: my only issue is getting different skins for characters and guns…its tedious u gotta basically commit every day every week every hour to play levels and get points to use to purchase cards that give u random skins for guns and characters….its a long process I’ve been playing since it came out a year ago and I still haven’t even got half the unlockables yet

Overall I really do recommend this game …..10/10 its fun

So this game got another update….this time it’s a 3rd expansion pack…..here’s the trailer

So what does this update give us? Well it gives us a new chapter in the game……and a new character…..so this female character cones asking for our character’s help to retrieve her brother who’s being held captive by a cult who warship the Ridden…..aka the zombies……thats basically the premise of this chapter….we get another playable character, new chapter which has 6 locations in it……also we get new zombie……so here’s the list of stuff we get

A flamethrower as a weapon

New zombie variant (this zombie can burrow into the ground and pop up, then shoot a fleshy ball of meat from its mouth to u and ur team….better watch out because if u don’t it does alot of damage to yall)

Ridden worm needles (which can be found randomly in the map..s..be careful to not walk through then it does damage to u, only way to kill it is with a flamethrower….those are hard to find so Goodluck)

Some minor bug fixes of course

Honestly overall I like this update, loving the new location….because one of the locations u can play in is a children’s museum……I founded that to be fun and creative, plus the new Ridden variant for thr first time looks and feels way different then the other variants we’ve gotten in the game so far……honestly I highly recommend u get this game now…..with all the content it has? How can yall not try it out……rating for this expansion pack 9/10
